My journey into pottery …

I am not sure when I first fell in love with handmade pottery, but I have always been drawn to the evidence of work by someones hands.  I also thrive while working with my own hands, especially when it comes to working with the earth.  I love to work with soil and plants so experimenting with clay seems like a natural fit for me.

The ability to enjoy food and drinks from my own handmade pieces brings me such joy, it elevates the enjoyment of food as I recall creating the piece. I hope it will bring joy to others as well.

All my pieces are handthrown on a pottery wheel with stoneware, fired to cone 6.
